Our Team
Lyn Ebdon and Iain McCreath

Paragons Personnel founders, Lyn Ebdon and Iain McCreath, met in 1983 when they were employed by the same recruitment firm and soon realised they had ambitions greater than they were able to fulfill as just employees.

It wasn’t long before a strong professional relationship grew between Lyn and Iain and the idea of Paragons Personnel was conceived. Since 1985 they have nurtured and grown their business into one of the leading recruitment agencies within the Hampshire and Wiltshire boarders. Nowadays both Lyn and Iain are able to take a backseat thanks to the strong and diverse team of recruitment consultants they have brought together at Paragons and are able to enjoy the fruits of their labour.
Iain is married to Christine and they have two children: Sarah (born 1991) Alex (born 1993) and a family pet Bella, a Springer cross. He lives Totton and his hobbies & interests include: golf, tennis, squash, cricket, motor biking (travelled across many countries with friends on off-road bikes), drinking, eating and holidays.
Lyn is married to Roger and lives in West Wellow with her two ponies: Pinocchio (New Forest), Reilly (Connemara) and working Cocker Spaniel called Willow. With holiday home in Normandy she enjoys spending time there with friends and family and her other hobbies & interests include: riding/competing ponies, tennis, eating, drinking, France, holidays and reading. Lyn also finds time to sit on the council for the Romsey Show, holds the position of Sponsorship committee chairman and has the honour of being Show Chairman again this year as she was in 2009.

Gerri Meade
Gerri joined Paragons Personnel in January 1997. She is responsible for starting and managing the legal division which employs locums, legal cashiers and all support staff required within the legal industry. She also runs the commercial desk dealing with both temporary & permanent positions. Both of these sectors she approaches with a wealth of knowledge and buckets of enthusiasm.
Prior to joining Paragons Gerri worked for a recruitment consultancy in London for fifteen years and was responsible for legal recruitment. Then the green fields of the south & family beckoned, enough of the rat race she thought, hence the return home to Hampshire. In her spare time she and husband can be found visiting friends, entertaining and enjoying the fantastic quality of life that this region offers.

Angie Geary
Angie runs the busy industrial temps desk and loves nothing more than having loads of bookings to fill and a busy day ahead of her! Although this is Angie’s speciality she chips in and (as all Paragons staff happily do when required!) helps with commercial temps or perms.
Angie started in sales 28 years ago and more specifically recruitment 25 years ago, Fourteen of these years was running a very successful programme centre / job club / out reach centre in Hampshire for the unemployed. More recently she has run the temps desk at right4staff before joining Paragons 2 years ago. Out of work Angie loves walking with her dog Bonnie, having holidays abroad, enjoying evenings out with her partner and their friends and enjoys going to see live music.

Lisa Keen
Lisa has been with Paragons since 1989, almost part of the fixtures and fittings, she is responsible for the wages and sales ledger function of the company. She gained her AAT (Association of Accounting Technician) Qualification whilst working for Hampshire County Council, Treasurers Department. All of her previous positions have been in the finance field from her first job in a Bank in 1975, through to Sales Ledger, Accountancy Assistant and predominantly wages.
In their spare time she and her husband enjoy touring holidays on their motorcycle, apparently the only proper way to see the world! Lisa has also just started to learn to play golf with her husband so that she isn’t left to become a ‘Golf Widow’ ! Maybe she can be persuaded to fly the Paragons flag on her golfing attire?

Nicola Mitchell
Joining the Paragons line up in September 2010, Nicola very quickly became an integral part of the team and now fulfils a dual role that includes the responsibility for permanent recruitment and client liaison as well as assisting the commercial and industrial departments.
Nicola has been in recruitment since 2007, prior to which she was a sales negotiator, branch administrator and accounts manager respectively, roles that have provided her with a variety of skills as well as a fund of knowledge.
With keen interests in interior design and gardening Nicola’s evenings and weekends, as well as enjoying the company of family and friends, are spent keeping her home and garden looking good.
